Comedian and actor Richard Pryor tied the knot seven times, though he married some of his wives twice. He married Patricia Price (1960 to 1961), Shelley Bonis (1967 to 1969), Deborah McGuire (1977 to 1978), and Jennifer Lee (1981 to 1982). Pryor married the actress Flynn Belain twice—from 1986 to 1987, as well as from 1990 to 1991.

In 2001, Richard Pryor returned to his ex-wife Jennifer Lee and they remained together until he died in 2005. 

Lee later spoke about her relationship with Pryor to People magazine: "I did return in the summer of '94, and we eventually remarried. [Richard] kept apologizing for some of the things that he'd done. He kept saying, 'Jennifer, I hurt you. I was horrible to you, and I can't tell you how sorry I am.' There you've got a man sick sitting in a wheelchair, shadow of his former self, dealing with his life and looking back, happy to deal with it. He came to terms with it, and so did I."

Elizabeth Taylor had eight weddings, but married seven men. Her ex-husbands include Conrad Hilton, Jr. (1950 to 1951), Michael Wilding (1952 to 1957), Mike Todd who died in a plane crash (1957 to 1958), and Eddie Fisher (1959 to 1964), who had previously been married to Taylor's good friend, Debbie Reynolds. However, her most notorious husband was definitely Richard Burton.

The famous radio and television host Larry King married eight times. In 2020, he shared with People magazine, "I got married a lot. In my head, I'm not a marrying guy. Though Turner married Joseph Stephen Crane in 1942, they wound up seeking an annulment a year later as Crane hadn't properly divorced his wife. But this wasn't the end of their story.
