Stars like Nicola Coughlan and Anna Kendrick who often portray teenagers on screen, and Jim Parsons, Alyson Hannigan and Gabrielle Union who are also known to take on younger roles, may just surprise you with how old they really are.

Nicola Coughlan
Nicola Coughlan, who is best-known for her role as teenager Penelope Featherington in Bridgerton is actually 37 years old.
She told Teen Vogue in April 2024 that the talk about her age is “super funny” and that she’d “never hidden” it. Coughlan has actually had to address the topic numerous times.
Claudia Jessie
Claudia Jessie is another Bridgerton cast member who plays a role much younger than her real age. Jessie is known for her role as 19-year-old Eloise Bridgerton, but in real life the actress is actually 34 years old.
Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek has apparently always had to correct people about her age. She often plays characters who are in their twenties and early thirties, when in reality Hayek is 57 years old.
Gwen Stefani
Gwen Stefani has also claimed that she often has to correct people about her age. With her beautiful youthful looks, it’s hard to believe Stefani is actually 54 years old.
