Johnny Wactor
Best known for his role in General Hospital, 37-year-old Johnny Wactor met a tragic end on May 25.
In LA, three men tried to steal his car's catalytic converter, and Wactor was fatally shot.
Richard Lewis
Comedian Richard Lewis was a beloved character on Curb Your Enthusiasm. He passed on February 27 in his LA home after having a heart attack.
He was 76 years old.
William Russell
William Russell passed at the age of 99 on June 3. He was an English actor with an impressive 70-year career. He became well-known back in the 1950s for his performance in The Adventures of Sir Lancelot, but he also had a popular role in the Doctor Who series.

Carl Weathers
Carl Weathers was both an actor and professional linebacker in his career.
He starred in several popular films, including Predator and Rocky. He passed on February 1 at the age of 76.
His family's statement read: "We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Carl Weathers. Carl was an exceptional human being who lived an extraordinary life. Through his contributions to film, television, the arts and sports, he has left an indelible mark and is recognized worldwide and across generations.
He was a beloved brother, father, grandfather, partner and friend".

Erich Anderson
According to his wife, Saxon Trainor, actor Erich Anderson passed after a "brutal struggle with cancer". He passed on May 31 at the age of 67.
One of his most popular roles was in Felicity, where he played the father of Keri Russell's character.

Grayson Murray
Grayson Murray was a professional golfer who died by suicide on May 25. He was only 30 years old.
The next day, his parents released a heart-wrenching statement: "We have so many questions that have no answers. But one. Was Grayson loved? The answer is yes. By us, his brother Cameron, his sister Erica, all of his extended family, by his friends, by his fellow players and—it seems—by many of you who are reading this. He was loved and he will be missed".
Glynis Johns
Actress Glynis Johns had quite an impressive career—from the stage to the screen. She won a Tony Award, and was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award, a Golden Globe Award, and an Oscar. Some of Johns' films included Mary Poppins and The Cabinet of Caligari.
She lived to the age of 100, passing away on January 4 of natural causes.

O. J. Simpson
O. J. Simpson will go down in history as being a controversial celebrity. He was a football player and actor, but most disturbingly, he was suspected of murdering his wife Nicole and her friend.
On April 10, Simpson passed from cancer at the age of 76.
Janis Paige
Passing away at the age of 101, Janis Paige was one of the last stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood.
She starred in films such as Remains to Be Seen and Silk Stockings. She also had her very own sitcom called It's Always Jan.
Paige's acting talents were even transferrable to the stage. Some of her projects included Guys and Dolls and Mame.
Morgan Spurlock
Back in 2004, Morgan Spurlock shot to celebrity status with his controversial documentary Super Size Me, which explored the real effects of eating fast food, specifically McDonald's. He even nabbed an Academy Award nomination for the project.
On May 23, Spurlock passed from complications of cancer at the age of 53.
Charlie Colin
Charlie Colin played the bass for the band Train. He was also one of its founding members. He passed suddenly on May 17 when he slipped in the shower and fell. He was 58 years old.

Chance Perdomo
27-year-old Chance Perdomo had his whole life ahead of him when he tragically passed in a motorcycle accident on March 30.
The actor was best known for his performances in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Gen V.

Barbara Rush
Barbara Rush passed on Easter at the age of 97. The actress made her mark through her performances in Peyton Place and It Came from Outer Space.
Her daughter Claudia Cowan told Fox News: "My wonderful mother passed away peacefully at 5:28 this evening.
I was with her this morning and know she was waiting for me to return home safely to transition".
Donald Sutherland
Donald Sutherland had a successful career in film and and television. From M*A*S*H to The Hunger Games, he commanded the screen with his effortless acting. He sadly passed on June 20 at the age of 88.
His son, actor Kiefer Sutherland, took to social media to make a heart-wrenching statement: “With a heavy heart, I tell you that my father, Donald Sutherland, has passed away. I personally think one of the most important actors in the history of film. Never daunted by a role, good, bad or ugly.
He loved what he did and did what he loved, and one can never ask for more than that. A life well lived”.

Robyn Bernard
Robyn Bernard was best known for her role in General Hospital. The 64-year-old's body was found in a field on March 12 in San Jacinto, California.
Reportedly, there was no suspicion of foul play.

Anne Whitfield
Anne Whitfield played Susan Waverly in the beloved holiday film White Christmas. The 85-year-old passed on February 14. While walking in her neighborhood, she experienced an "unexpected accident".
Her obituary read, “Annie’s greatest wish is for her family and future generations to thrive in a world characterized by love, acceptance, natural beauty, and the cessation of political and social injustices. She was a powerhouse in life and we hope her immense positive energy flows out to those who had the pleasure of knowing her".

Toby Keith
Toby Keith was a very popular country singer, with memorable numbers such as "Should Have Been a Cowboy" and "Red Solo Cup".
Sadly, the singer had been battling stomach cancer since 2021.
He passed on February 5 at the age of 62. His family shared that "He fought his fight with grace and courage".
Kenneth Mitchell
Kenneth Mitchell passed on February 24, five years after receiving his ALS diagnosis. He was best known for his work in Star Trek: Discovery.
His family made a statement that they posted on X.
Part of it read: “Ken was widely known as an actor in many films and television shows. He’s portrayed an Olympic hopeful, an apocalypse survivor, an astronaut, a superhero’s dad, and four unique Star Trekkers".
Christian Oliver
Actor Christian Oliver was only 51 when he lost his life in a plane crash on January 4.
There were three other people on board: the pilot and Oliver's two daughters, 10-year-old Matida and 12-year-old Annik. Tragically, none of them survived the accident.
Oliver was known for films like Baby-Sitters Club and Speed Racer.

David Soul
David Soul played one of television's most iconic characters: detective Kenneth Hutchinson—or Hutch—in Starsky & Hutch.
The 80-year-old actor passed on January 4.
Alec Musser
The All My Children actor Alec Musser tragically died by suicide at the age of 50 on January 12. His fiancée Paige Press found him "slumped forward on the bathroom floor". He'd shot himself.
Press posted an Instagram story, reading, "RIP to the love of my life. I will never stop loving you.
My heart is broken".
Chita Rivera
Chita Rivera passed on January 30 at the age of 91. The actress made her Broadway debut all the way back in 1950, starring in Guys and Dolls. During her lifetime, she won two Tony awards for Best Actress.

Dexter Scott King
Dexter Scott King was the son of Dr.
Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer and passed on January 22 at the age of 62.
His wife Leah Weber King shared a statement: “He transitioned peacefully in his sleep at home with me in Malibu. He gave it everything and battled this terrible disease until the end.
As with all the challenges in his life, he faced this hurdle with bravery and might".
Gary Graham
Actor Gary Graham became known for his performances in Alien Nations and Star Trek: Enterprise. He passed on January 22 at the age of 73.
Graham's ex-wife payed tribute to him in a Facebook post:
“It is with deep profound sadness to say that Gary Graham, my ex husband, amazing actor and father of our beautiful only child together, Haylee Graham, has passed away today".

Isabelle Thomas
39-year-old Isabelle Thomas was married to the producer Bradley Thomas, who worked on Killers of the Flower Moon. Shockingly, she died by suicide on January 29.
Susan Buckner
Susan Buckner will forever be known as Patty Simcox in Grease. However, her career in show business was cut short after she decided to devote her time to raising her children.
She died at the age of 72 on May 2.

Dickey Betts
Guitarist Dickey Betts had cancer and lung disease—and passed on April 18 at the age of 80. He was one of the founding members of the Allman Brothers Band.
He helped write a number of songs for the banding, such as "Ramblin' Man". In 1995, Betts earned his place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Cole Brings Plenty
Actor Cole Brings Pleny was only 27 when his body was discovered on April 5; he had been reported as a missing person and was allegedly involved in a domestic incident.
The young actor was best known for his role in 1923—the prequel series to Yellowstone.
Adrian Schiller
Actor Adrian Schiller had quite a wondrous career that lasted over three decades.
He acted in films such as Suffragette, The Danish Girl, Bright Star, and Little Chaos. However, he might be best known for his performance in Netflix's The Last Kingdom.
Schiller passed at the age of 60 on April 3.
Ron Harper
Ron Harper passed on Mach 21 at the age of 91. He acted in the science fiction series Planet of the Apes and Land of the Lost.

David Seidler
David Seidler wrote the amazing screenplay for The King's Speech. His own struggle with a stutter eventually inspired him to work on the script.
Of course, the film won many awards, and Seidler eventually adapted the script for the stage.
On March 16, Seidler passed during a fly-fishing trip in New Zealand. He was 86 years old.

Akira Toriyama
The creator of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama, passed at the age of 68 on March 1 after suffering an acute subdural hematoma. The Japanese manga artist was extremely influential in the anime world, and beyond.
Mark Gustafson
Mark Gustafson had a long career in animation, and most notably co-directed Pinoccho with Guillermo del Toro. He passed on February 1 at the age of 64.
In the wake of his loss, Guillermo del Toro posted to his social media about Gustafson: "I admired Mark Gustafson, even before I met him. A pillar of stop motion animation — a true artist".
Mary Weiss
As the lead singer of the Shangri-Las, Mary Weiss and her bandmates put out some serious bangers, such as "Remember (Walking in the Sand)" and "Leader of the Pack".
Due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, Weiss passed on January 19 at the age of 75.
Francoise Hardy
Francoise Hardy was an iconic French singer who passed on January 17 at the age of 80. She played a major role in the Yé-yé pop wave. As an artistic muse, she also influenced major fashion designers like Yves Saint Laurent and Chanel.
The singer's son Thomas Dutronc posted about his mother's passing on social media:
"Maman est parties".
