The Tallest Actors In Hollywood
Not all actors are created equal, especially in the height department. Although the big screen can make anyone tower over the audience, there are few actors who can do it in real life. Some of these actors might even surprise you.
Jason Momoa: 6'4"
Aquaman actor Jason Momoa is pretty well-known as a big guy. Still, at 6'4" he's kind of shorter than we thought he would be. But maybe that's because his ex Lisa Bonet is tiny at only 5'2", so all the pictures we've seen show more than a foot height difference.
Michael Richards: 6'3''
Ask anyone off the street, and they'll probably tell you that the most memorable character from the sitcom Seinfeld was none other than Michael Richards' Kramer. In the role, Richards used all 6 feet and 3 inches of his body to bring some of the biggest laughs to the show.

Chris Hemsworth: 6'3"
As you might expect from someone who plays a literal Norse god on screen, Chris Hemsworth is a strapping 6 feet 3 inches. We can't wait to see every inch of him in the new Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga film as the evil Dr. Dementus.
Ben Affleck: 6'4"
It makes sense that Batman actor Ben Affleck is 6'4", at least on paper. Playing Bruce Wayne probably requires some amount of stature. But even so, each time we look at Ben, we don't necessarily see a tall man. But hey, the numbers don't lie.
Hugh Jackman: 6'3"
The Marvel Cinematic universe probably has some of the tallest actors in its stable, and Hugh Jackman is no exception. The Deadpool & Wolverine actor stands at 6'3." Like Chris Hemsworth, he's also Australian. What is in the water there?
Joonas Suotamo: 6'11''
Joonas Suotamo isn't the most famous name on this list, but he does play one of the most iconic characters. The Finnish actor and former basketball player stars as Chewbacca in the new Star Wars films, and is 6'11". Peter Mayhew, who played Chewbacca before his death in 2019, was 7'3".
Will Ferrell: 6'3"
Some tall actors don't look tall, but that's not the case with Will Ferrell. You take one look at his long limbs, especially in something like his classic Elf, and you just know he's above six feet. You'd be right: Will Ferrell is 6'3".
Donald Sutherland: 6'4"
This one gets filed under "We had no idea!" Donald Sutherland, AKA Coriolanus Snow in the Hunger Games movies (and father of Kiefer Sutherland), is 6 foot 4 inches.
Jared Padalecki: 6'4"
Ever since he broke out as Rory's heart-of-gold boyfriend Dean on Gilmore Girls, it's been obvious that the 6'4" Jared Padalecki is tall. That was also the case when he starred next to Jensen Ackles in Supernatural. Incredibly, though, Ackles is 6'1" and (literally) no slouch himself in that department, which shows you just how tall Padalecki is.
Tim Robbins: 6'5"
Tim Robbins is one of the most respected actors in Hollywood, with his roles in The Shawshank Redemption and Mystic River being only two of the many crown jewels in his career. He keeps his private life private, though, so he doesn't pop up that much in paparazzi photos. Because of this, most people don't realize he's 6'5".
Chevy Chase: 6'4"
Legendary comedian Chevy Chase has remained relatively low profile since even his later days starring as part of the ensemble cast of Community, so you might forget just how tall he is. 6'4", according to reports.
Alexander Skarsgård: 6'4"
Alexander Skarsgård just looks so tall, and those Swedish good looks certainly help complete the picture. At 6'4", it's no wonder he's been chosen for projects like The Northman and Tarzan that make use of his imposing stature as well as his talents.
John Lithgow: 6'4''
3rd Rock from the Sun didn't just give us Joseph Gordon-Levitt, it also gave us John Lithgow, who is 6'4" and an incredibly tall man. Some might even say otherworldly?
James Cromwell: 6'7''
"That'll do pig, that'll do" was such an iconic line from Babe, it's hard not to look at James Cromwell, who played Farmer Hoggett, and think of it. But did you know that Cromwell is a whopping 6'7"? He's actually the tallest actor to ever be nominated for an Academy Award (which he also got for Babe).

Vince Vaughn: 6'5"
Vince Vaughn has often made good use of his 6'5" height in his movies, maybe most memorably with the petite 5'3" Isla Fisher in Wedding Crashers.
John Krasinski: 6'3"
John Krasinski isn't someone most people think of when they think of tall actors, but did you know he's 6'3"? Then again, if you ever watched him in Jack Ryan kicking butt, you might have suspected he was taller than he initially looks.

Howard Stern: 6'5"
Radio personality Howard Stern is very, very tall. At 6'5", in fact, he's one of the tallest people on our list, and the tallest people in Hollywood, period.
Dev Patel: 6'2"
Dev Patel's action movie Monkey Man was his directorial debut (and was also written by the actor), and throughout the movie's intense fight scenes, you can see that Patel packs a punch. As he should: He's 6'2".
John Corbett: 6'5''
Carrie Bradshaw had so many different men on SATC, but John Corbett, who played her love Aidan Shaw, is probably the tallest at 6 feet 5 inches. In fact, he's a full three inches taller than the show's "Mr. Big," Chris Noth, who is 6'2".
Tom Selleck: 6'4"
Tom Selleck rose to fame in Magnum PI, and is still one of Hollywood's classiest men. He's also one of its tallest. Selleck is 6'4".

Despite his fame as a killing machine in Taken, Liam Neeson generally has a calm, serene vibe. So you might not realize that the Northern Irish actor frequently towers over his co-stars at 6'4".

At some point, at least if you've ever seen Magic Mike XXL, you probably have wondered exactly how tall the mountain of a man Joe Manganiello is. The answer to that is a perfect 6 feet, 5 inches.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall star Jason Segel doesn't always clock as one of the taller actors in Hollywood, but he is, and not just when he's standing next to his 5'4" co-star Mila Kunis. He's 6'4".

Clint Eastwood has a long, lean face and a long lean body. The veteran actor and director is 6'4".
Jacob Elordi: 6'5''
This one kind of shocked us. When you look at Jacob Elordi, he looks so tall. And he is! But at 6'5", he's not astronomically taller than a lot of other actors on this list, and certainly not the tallest. Still, it's hard to turn up your nose at 6'5".

Dwayne Johnson: 6'5"
Yes, it's no surprise that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is tall. Anyone who watched him during his beginnings in wrestling could tell you that. But at 6'5", he often looms over even other tall men. And that's before we even get to his muscular width.
Conan O’Brien: 6'4"
Conan O'Brien is one of those "famously tall" celebrities, not just because of his actual 6'4" height but because of the gangly frame that goes with it. He's basically gumby, and he makes use of his physicality in his comedy.
Joel McHale: 6'4"
Like Chevy Chase, Joel McHale is another Community alum in the 6'4" club. That's right, McHale isn't just funny, he's also extremely tall.
Tom Hiddleston: 6'2''
Tom Hiddleston is another one of those very long-limbed but not necessarily super tall actors. The Loki actor is a very respectable 6"2", but honestly if you said he was 6'5" we would have believed you.
Bill Skarsgård: 6'4"
Sweden is known for producing some Very Tall Men, and so is the Skarsgård family. So it's no surprise that Bill Skarsgård, who followed his brother Alexander into the movies with his role as the evil clown in It, is 6'4".
Alfred Enoch: 6'4"
With Daniel Radcliffe (5'5") and Rupert Grint (5'8"), the Harry Potter movies aren't necessarily known for producing the tallest stars. But Alfred Enoch, who played Dean Thomas (the Gryffindor Chaser on the Quidditch team) is an exception to the rule at 6'4".

The Internet tends to go wild over The Hobbit and Bodies Bodies Bodies actor Lee Pace, and for good reason. he not only has the Elfin good looks that landed him the role of Thranduil in The Hobbit, but he's also one of the first people your eyes go to, standing at 6'5".
Bo Burnham: 6'6"
Now here's a twist. Actor and musician Bo Burnham gives off such a golden retriever puppy vibe, it's easy to forget or not even realize that he's just about 6'6". (OK, officially he's 6 feet, 5 and a half inches, but who's counting?)
Sacha Baron Cohen: 6'3"
Borat star Sacha Baron Cohen can get big laughs, and not always for his big physicality. Nonetheless, he stands at 6 feet 3 inches.
RuPaul: 6'4"
With his prowess on the runway, maybe it's no wonder that RuPaul's Drag Race founder RuPaul is 6'4" without heels on. Eleganza.
Jeff Goldblum: 6'4"
Everyone's favorite Jurassic Park actor is a tall drink of water. Although he's known for his distinctive, lounge-lizard style and his drawl, Jeff Goldblum is also often one of the tallest people on the red carpet.
Liam Hemsworth: 6'3"
It really does run in the family. At 6 feet 3 inches,Liam Hemsworth reportedly stands at the exact same height as his brother Chris. We can only imagine what family reunions are like at the Hemsworth clan.

With his Madea series, not to mention his writing and directing for tons of films, Tyler Perry is always moving in culture. He's not hard to spot either: Believe it or not, he's 6'5".
