The fantasy genre is vast and difficult to define. There might be some magic, but then again, there might not. Are superheroes fantasy? What about Christmas movies? Well, according to Rotten Tomatoes, the following are the best fantasy movies on streaming giant Netflix.

Damsel

Tomatometer: 56%

Only 56%? Don’t worry—it’s all uphill from here. Damsel turns the tables on the old story of the young woman sacrificed to a dragon. After being tossed into a cave with a fire-breathing beast, this damsel uses all her skills and wits to survive the terrifying experience.

The Monkey King

Based on old Chinese legends, The Monkey King is an animated adventure that follows the journey of Monkey and his magical fighting stick, Stick. Monkey is on a quest to defeat over 100 demons, but ends up learning a lot more along the way.
