We Can't Hardly Wait
Sure, there's already lots of good stuff on Netflix, but that doesn't mean we can't get psyched for what's on the horizon. These are the movies and series that we are already planning on binging in December.
December 1st: Faster (2010)
Netflix opens the month with some older content, including this Dwayne Johnson, Billy Bob Thornton action thriller from 2010.
December 1st: A Different World (Seasons 1-6)
This Cosby Show spin-off followed Lisa Bonet's Denise Huxtable to college. All six seasons and 144 episodes are dropping on Netflix on December 1st.
December 1st: Run All Night (2015)
If you skipped this Liam Neeson action thriller back in 2015, you get another crack at it come December 1st.
December 1st: Transformers (2007)
The first—of many—Transformers movies.
December 1st: The Dark Tower (2017)
Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey take the lead in this neo-Western Sci-Fantasy based on The Dark Tower series of novels by Stephen King.
December 1st: Top Five (2014)
Chris Rock wrote, directed, and stars in this underappreciated 2014 film.
December 3rd: Fortune Feimster: Crushing It (2024)
A new stand-up special from the very funny Fortune Feimster.
December 4th: Churchill At War (Limited Series)
A Netflix Original documentary series about Winston Churchill and WWII.
December 5th: Black Doves (Season 1)
Keira Knightley plays a mother who is deep undercover as a spy in this action thriller. Is Black Doves Netflix's answer to Apple TV+'s Slow Horses? We're looking forward to finding out.
December 5th: Subservience (2024)
AI turns deadly in this Megan Fox-led sci-fi thriller. Note: Fox is the AI.
December 7th: Shiva Baby (2021)
A comedy about a bisexual Jewish woman at a shiva—along with a whole host of interesting characters.
December 10th: Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was… (2024)
A new stand-up special from Jamie Foxx. Color us intrigued.
December 10th: Polo (Season 1)
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle produced this sports documentary series about polo players.
December 11th: Maria (2024)
Angelina Jolie plays Maria Callas during her final years—when the opera singer was living in Paris.
December 11th: One Hundred Years Of Solitude (Season 1)
A series based on author Gabriel García Márquez's magnum opus novel of the same name.
December 12th: No Good Deed (Season 1)
Three families are all trying to buy the same house in this comedy series starring a whole bunch of big names—from Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow, to Luke Wilson, Abbi Jacobson, and Denis Leary.
December 13th: 1992 (Limited Series)
A Spanish serial killer crime thriller set in the early 90s.
December 13th: Carry-On (2024)
Jason Bateman plays a "Mysterious Traveler" who blackmails TSA officer Taron Egerton, in order to get a package onto a flight.
December 17th: Aaron Rodgers: Enigma (2024)
A Netflix Original documentary about the controversial, future Hall of Fame quarterback.
December 19th: Virgin River (Season 6)
The sixth season hasn't even dropped yet and the series has already been renewed for a seventh season.
December 20th: Ferry 2 (2024)
If you've watched the good Dutch-language crime drama Undercover, then this will all make sense. We think. The movie Ferry and the show Ferry: The Series were both prequels to Undercover. The upcoming Ferry 2 film is a sequel—following on the events of the third and final season of the series.
December 20th: The Six Triple Eight (2024)
Kerry Washington leads a cast that includes Sam Waterston, Susan Sarandon, and Oprah Winfrey in this war drama about the Black female battalion that delivered mail during WWII. Directed by Tyler Perry.
December 24th: Your Friend, Nate Bargatze (2024)

December 26th: Squid Game (Season 2)
